Andrea Gonzalez is the Operations Director for the Intel Foundation & Corporate Philanthropy at Intel Corporation. In this role, she leads the operational and administrative aspects of the Intel Foundation’s matching programs, including donation matching, volunteer matching, and disaster relief response campaigns. Andrea ensures seamless execution and compliance, while also overseeing the administration and management of Intel’s philanthropic initiatives and grants. By coordinating with diverse stakeholders, she drives Intel’s philanthropic goals to create a positive societal impact.
With nearly a decade of experience as a Development Industrial Engineer in Test Technology Development, Andrea transitioned to Human Resources, where she has held various roles over the past five years. She holds a degree in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica and has earned multiple leadership certifications.
Andrea is passionate about empowering others to become their best selves through education, self-advocacy, and strategic resourcefulness. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s motto, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” she dedicates herself to volunteering, mentoring, coaching, and public speaking. Born in Costa Rica, Andrea brings a unique perspective and bilingual proficiency in Spanish, enhancing her ability to serve and connect with a wide range of individuals. Recently becoming a U.S. citizen, she continues to embrace new opportunities to contribute to her community.
Her love for learning drives her to constantly enjoy a good book, listen to podcasts on leadership, spirituality, and family relationships, and take online courses. Andrea enjoys cooking with her family, hiking, and is excited to start gardening. She cherishes spending time with her husband Ron and their five children, Ariana, Ruben, Alejandro, Abril and a new baby on the way. Two of their children currently attend Monticello Academy.
